[List Updated] Of all free hosted blog platforms I have known WordPress.com is definitely my favorite. WordPress.com a WordPress MU-powered weblog hosting provider that provides free basic and original features, including some featured widgets.

Gravatar (= globally recognized avatar) is a service for providing globally-unique avatars, which you to register an account based on their email address, and upload an avatar to be associated with the account.

Box.net – an online file sharing service that allows you to store, access and share files remotely.

Del.icio.us - a social bookmarking web service that allows you to store, share and discover web bookmarks.

Meebo – an Ajax-based in-browser instant messaging program which supports multiple IM services, including Yahoo! Messenger, .NET Messenger Service, AIM, ICQ, MySpaceIM, Facebook Chat and Jabber.
